Luanda Hash
Hash House Harriers, that is. For the uninitiated, the Hash House Harriers is basically a big group of international expats who wear silly hats and run around strange places.
Last weekend we all joined Hash N°478 – Fortaleza Chuva: a jaunt up to the Fortaleza for a panoramic view of Luanda, then to Coqueiros stadium and the Marginal.
Since it was my first Hash, I had to wear a sufficiently silly hat while we walked through the city and then drink copious amounts of Cuca out of a baby toilet.
Hash or hazing? Either way, it was fun to get drenched in the rain with other expats.
