So my blogging has slowed. Immensely.

I’m not exactly sure why. Maybe it was Kelli and me seeing the less favorable parts of São Tomé,¹ maybe it has been the normalization of our lives here, or maybe I’ve just been lazy.

At any rate, it’s not like there’s been nothing going on. There’s been plenty to share—just not a whole lot that I’ve wanted to blog about in an entire post.

So I ripped off some design cues from a few websites I like,² resurrected my tumblr account, and sat down to tinker away.

This here is my work in progress. Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions.

About the Changes

Same same, but different

To the homepage I added space on the right for memes and random photos from my tumblr, and quotes and music and whatever else you’re supposed to tumblr about at the bottom left. There’s also a little scrolly thing that takes you to my Photo Galleries.

On individual post pages, there is now a sidebar, where you’ll find links to the most recent posts, as well as related posts and sidenotes.

I’ll hopefully post more frequently on my tumblr account with quick thoughts / photos / music, and use this blog as my “column” of sorts. So longer stuff.

But think of Crab Sandwich as the aggregator for all my ramblings … you can just come here when you’re bored and want to waste a few moments of your life.

Ah man … I need to stop right there.
